Jimbo at 9 months old… he’s endearing, in a bone-headed sort of way. Here he is pictured with his cone head. He had to get surgery to treat his “cherry eye” – when a dog’s 3rd eyelid “pops out” thus appearing like a tumor poking out the corner of his eye.

Jimbo makes his weekly visit to Brookdale Dog Park (www.brookdaledogpark.org) in Montclair, NJ. Since he’s still a puppy, Joy and Fae take him to the pen intended for small dogs, but he’s greeted with a nasty welcome from several vicious miniature dogs. After much bullying from these little canine napoleons, Jimbo moves to the big dog pen. It’s a different story here, and Jimbo even finds a buddy in an anonymous black dog.
